Known as “Sanu”, Raina was born in 1986 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and made his ODI debut in 2005 at Dambulla, against Sri Lanka. This Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Lions star has made India proud in numerous occasions.

Sharma was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra in 1987 and made his ODI debut in 2007 at Belfast, versus Ireland. He is one of the top batsmen of the present day game and represents the Mumbai Indians as well.

The “Sachin Double” took the cricketing world by surprise when he first walked into the field with Tendulkar to open the batting for India in 1999 at Mohali against Pakistan. For a moment it was like Sachin batting on both ends. Born in Delhi in 1978, Sehwag went on to represent the World XI, Asia XI, Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab.

Known as “Yuvi” among his peers, Yuvraj was born in 1981 in Chandigarh, Punjab and made his ODI debut in 2000 at Nairobi against Kenya. He was part of the Asia XI, Yorkshire, Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab teams.

Undoubtedly one of the best batsmen the cricketing world has seen, Kohli, was born in Delhi in 1988 and made his ODI debut in 2008 at Dambulla against Sri Lanka. He is the current skipper of the Indian team in all formats and represents Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL.

Azharuddin, known as “Azhar” among peers, was one of the coolest Indian captains. He was born in Hyderabad and made his ODI debut in 1985 at Bengaluru against England. He became the captain in 1989 and led the Indian team in 174 ODIs and out of them 90 were victories.

The most successful captain India has ever produced, Dhoni, was born in 1981 in Ranchi, Bihar and made his ODI debut in 2004 at Chittagong versus Bangladesh. He was part of the World XI, Asia XI, and Chennai Super Kings.

Another calm and collective character in and out of the field, Dravid alias “The Wall”, was born in 1973 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He represented World XI, Asia XI, Kent, Canterbury and Rajasthan Royals teams.
